On the rise of parliamentary-style debating in India

I recently had an opportunity to interact with the editors of a popular website (www.mylaw.net) that seeks to promote more meaningful interaction amongst lawyers and law students. I was asked to speak about the growth of parliamentary-style debating in Indian colleges over the last decade. Since these are transcripts of a telephonic conversation, the use of language is a bit jarring when seen in written form.
